It unlocks the density
A plate on the GPU carries heat out through water — up to 220 kW/rack across this line.
MDCX Liquid Cooling is a line of three factory-built, cold-plate container blocks for SXM-class GPU density, from 450 kW to 1,800 kW IT. Choose by floor, rack density, and whether the UPS boundary sits inside the box.
GB300 NVL72 and HGX B300 put the heat on the GPU package. A cold plate is the short path from that package to water — the regime NVLink training needs and air cannot reach. Boards that dump heat across VRMs and NICs belong on Immersion Cooling.

Warm-water loops (single 26 °C, or dual GPU 36–45 / in-row CW 10/15) let dry coolers do most of the rejection. Mechanical refrigeration is trim, not the main plant.
Loops, leak detection, redundant pumps live inside a tested standard module. You take the density without owning the integration risk.

Where the site will not permit lithium batteries inside the compute enclosure, pick a SKU with UPS outside (L1800C45 or L450C20). That is a configuration, not a downgrade.
